I am Rev. Carlene B. Duke. It is my pleasure to congratulate you and your fiancé on your decision to wed. A wedding ceremony is an outward statement of your very personal commitment of love and devotion to one another.

For many years I was a professional wedding photographer. I became an ordained minister in 1996. I enjoy providing this service to people of all cultures and faiths. I continue to enjoy learning more and more about the various marital traditions that couples practice. Whether you choose to have a big bash or a small romantic ceremony, I would be delighted to assist you in any way you need.

It is my goal to put you at ease during your ceremony and express heartfelt words of love that represent your beliefs and lifestyle.

All of your ideas regarding your ceremony are discussed in detail. My responsibility is to make sure that the words spoken during your ceremony reflect what is most meaningful to you. It is my wish that the tender loving promises you make to one another on your wedding day will remain fresh in your mind always.

All ceremony services include your choice of my private chapel or beautiful outdoor patio setting. Travel Fee: Additional fee applies for locations requiring more than 25 miles round trip travel.

Venue Options

Choose from my private chapel (up to 30 guests) or beautiful outdoor patio (up to 45 guests) at my Apple Valley location, or I can travel to your chosen venue throughout the High Desert region.

Marriage License Information

You may obtain a marriage license from your local County Recorder's Office. The license is valid for use for 90 days. On the day of your wedding you will give that to me so I can fill in the necessary information and sign it. You may also select two witnesses to sign it. The document requires one witness. You will need to return your license to the recorders office for legal documentation within 10 days.

How far in advance should I book?
